Illegal arms trafficking is a threat to world’s peace

The unpopular story of the world’s illegal arms dealer, Tony Abi Saab

The arms trade is a significant cause of human rights abuses. From sophisticated weapons finding their way into the hands of terrorist organizations to governments using them against its citizens to cross-country wars, increased violence around the globe is threatening every sphere of human lives today.

Tony Abi Saab, along with his father Joseph and brother Hady owns Brescia Middle East. Tony was accused of doing a 5 million dollar contract fraud with the United States Government in Afghanistan. He also created a fake identity of Sarah Lee (also known as Dinorah Cobos), an executive employee of Sima Salazar Group who was involved in winning contracts, bribing, and supplying weapons to terrorists.

The US took help of CIA and did a sting operation which proved that Tony did a money laundering fraud for million dollars with the help of his banker friend. Luckily, Tony played smart and got away by paying a minimal penalty and had the case moved from criminal court to a civil court. The only damage was done to his company Brescia Middle East (BME), which got banned from doing any future business in the US.

Tony Abi Saab has already established presence across the European Union by setting up companies in Germany: Umarex gmbh & co KG— Turkey: Osmanli Arms, ISTANBUL and KONYA, KOMANDO AV SAN TIC LTD, ATA Av tufekleri with partnership with companies in Italy: ARMERIA AMELIO GAMBA Srl, INTESA SANPAOLO S.P.A., Benelli Armi, franchi division, Fiocchi munizione, Armeria brignoli silvio & c snc , BLS, — France: Noble france sa  -Turkey: Osmanli Arms, ISTANBUL and KONYA, ATA Av tufekleri — Bangladesh: Emran arms, — East Europe and Russia: Kula Ltd., Tiblisi - Georgia, LOBASTOV IVAN, Baikal Ltd, Izhevsk city, Russia, Arsenal, Bulgaria, MSN and CSG Group, Czech Republic, Berkut Ltd, Ukraine — Brasil: Condor.

Tony has been labeled as the era’s most treacherous weapon dealer who is supplying weapons to the rebel groups of Syria and Iran, to make a profit out of it. EU should monitor all the activities of Tony Abi Saab and ensure that he isn’t planning any bigger fraud with EU countries.
